Renard Communications named Outstanding Corporate Partner by
New Jersey Institute of Technology
 I'm delighted to share some exciting news: Renard Communications, the parent company of Diversity/Careers, will receive the 2012 Outstanding Corporate Partner Award from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT, Newark, NJ).
University president Joel Bloom announced the award in June. It will be formally presented at NJIT's 18th annual Celebration event on November 2.
I've been a member of the Board of Visitors of NJIT's Albert Dorman Honors College since 2001, and Renard Communications established an endowed scholarship in 2004 for Honors College undergrads who are women or people of color in technical majors. The scholarship has supported multiple students each year since it was set up, and we've been happy to contribute to the education of these impressive young students.
On behalf of all of us at Renard Communications, I'm extremely honored to receive this award. Diversity/Careers shares NJIT's mission to advance the careers of diverse technical professionals and entrepreneurs in technology, and we're glad to be able to support the work of such an important institution.
Only one NJIT Outstanding Corporate Partner is chosen each year. Past recipients have included Panasonic, Exxon, PSE&G, BD, Prudential Insurance, Schering-Plough, UPS, Merck, Verizon, Hess Corporation and AECOM. Renard Communications and Diversity/Careers will be proud to join the list.
