Stevens appoints director of global tech management center

Leslie A. Stevens.

Hoboken, NJ – Stevens Institute of Technology has announced the appointment of Leslie A. Stevens as director of the Center for Global Technology Management at its Wesley J. Howe School of Technology Management.

Leslie Stevens was network VP for information management at AT&T's Network Services division from 1995 to 2000. She has also held high-level positions at NCR Corp, AT&T Venture Corp and Bell Labs.

She graduated from the University of Bristol, U.K. in 1974 with a math degree with first-class honors, and received an MS in computer and communication science from the University of Michigan in 1977 and an MS in advanced management from Pace University in 1984.

She is a key sponsor of the new Gifted and Talented K-5 program in the Bernards Township, NJ schools, and has also acted as a team coach for the Destination Imagination New Jersey competitions.

The Howe School opened the Center for Global Technology Management in October 2001. Its key objectives are research and course development on global innovation practices and theory.
