Entry Point!
(www.entrypoint.org)
Association for the Advancement of Science partners with IBM, NASA and others to place more than 350 interns in science, technology, engineering and math-related jobs.

Career Opportunities for Students with Disabilities
(COSD, www.cosdonline.org)
An outgrowth of a University of Tennessee initiative, COSD brings together universities, private and public employers to develop employment opportunities.

Work Force Recruitment Program for College Students with Disabilities
(WRP, www.dol.gov/odep and www.wrpjobs.com)
A joint effort of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy and the U.S. Department of Defense, WRP manages a database of qualified intern and co-op candidates, accessed primarily by federal agencies looking to hire disabled college students. Some private industry participation.

ACCESS
An internship program managed for NASA by the American Association for the Advancement of Science through Entry Point! Places interns with disabilities in mostly technical disciplines. NASA also sponsors its own internship and co-op programs — see www.nasajobs.nasa.gov.

The National Council on Disabilities (NCD),

The council is not an employment service, but has various programs and publications of interest. Its national Youth Advisory Council includes college students willing to network.

National Organization on Disability (NOD),
(www.nod.org)
NOD's website has resource lists and articles for job seekers with disabilities and employers looking for workers with disabilities.

U.S. Dept. of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy
(www.dol.gov/odep)
ODEP runs the High School/High Tech program for pre-college tech students, and tracks statistical data.
