| The
people of Diversity/Careers: Sitting in front,
Sherry Bailey, account executive; Janet O. Penn, executive
vice president; Roberta Renard, president & publisher;
Sanford Ashley, associate publisher & director of
advertising sales; and Delcina Regueiro, advertising
production coordinator. Back row: Marcia Siegendorf,
circulation manager; Eliana Rousso, assistant to the
publisher; Gail Goldstein, senior account executive;
Jose Bernales, business manager; and Pru Peterson, copy
editor and editorial design manager. Below, some of
our far-flung editorial staff. |
What
a ride the last ten years have been! As we put together
our October/November 2003 tenth anniversary issue, we took
the opportunity to step back and take a look at who we are
and how far we've come.
The
magazine started a decade ago in an office barely big enough
for two desks. Now we have two locations - our New Jersey
headquarters and our editorial office in New Hampshire -
and quite a few more employees. The magazine has grown from
our thirty-two page first edition to more than 100 pages
in each issue. We've added special issues for students.
And our advertiser roster has grown to include hundreds
of diversity-minded companies in just about every industry.
Most
successful companies agree that people are the core of an
organization. I want to salute the many wonderful people
who work hard to bring you Diversity/Careers. I hope
they'll keep doing it for at least another ten years.
Happy
birthday to Diversity/Careers, its readers, advertisers
and staff!
